About me

Hi there! I’m Elisha, the maker behind Fern Creations - I’m a London based creative, currently studying Prop Making at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. My particular skills include sculpting, mould making and casting as well as a variety of painting methods; I also have experience with textiles, body padding and fabrication as well as fine art techniques such as print making and illustration.

The exciting cross-disciplinary environment of studying at a conservatoire has made working with different departments familiar, from collaborating with costume, scenic art or stage management departments during pre-production to fittings and dressing an actor before a show.

As well as making, I’m extremely passionate about environmental sustainability and keep in line with this ethos as much as possible; I try to apply an ethical focus to the complete life span of my makes - from sourcing materials to disposal or re-use. These principles have been highlighted in my election as Environment Officer for my university’s Student Union and my winning of the Sustainhoods: Young Eco-Vision 2020 international competition with my subsequent participation in the organisation’s film, screened at the 2020 Being Human Festival last year.
